IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) is seeking volunteer members to join your IMA local community leadership team. We are seeking volunteer community champions for a variety of roles, both large and small, short, or long term in an effort to revitalize your local chapter and engage new leaders into the pipeline. This includes multiple flexible-volunteer opportunities.
 
Local chapter engagement with IMA offers professional networking opportunities with finance professionals and companies in your community; professional development opportunities to improve your finance and leadership competencies; opportunities to build your project planning and presentation skills in a safe environment. Come out and join your local leadership team to be part of empowering the profession and helping others achieve their professional goals while building your network.

About the Role

You will work closely with your chapter board leaders, and fellow chapter volunteers to achieve shared goals and ensure the chapter's success. You will also collaborate with the Community Relations team at IMA headquarters in the USA.

As a Chapter Board volunteer, you will help drive the success of our local IMA community by:

• Planning and coordinating chapter activities.

• Engaging members to ensure a high-quality member experience

Flexible Volunteer role opportunities include (but are not limited to): Communications & Marketing, Member Support, Education & Programming, Financial & Administrative, Coordination & Feedback and Events. All chapter volunteers must be active IMA members in good standing and demonstrate a commitment to the responsibilities of care, loyalty, and compliance with IMA’s policies.
